Classical Concepts SALON

Classical Concepts Salon was started in May 1995 by Christine Goodness, on Broadway in Saratoga Springs. The original location was 300 square feet and had three styling stations. In November 1999, the salon expanded to 1300 square feet and became an Aveda Concept Salon and Spa, with the addition of massage, pedicure, manicure and facial services.

With the business continually growing, the opportunity became available to move yet again, gaining more square footage and an unbelievable first floor location alongside The Gap, Banana Republic, Chicos, Ann Taylor and Starbucks. With this new move came the opportunity to become an Aveda Lifestyle Salon and Spa. The decision was made and construction began in March 2005 with the grand opening on June 25, 2005.

The staff was increased from 4 employees to currently 25. Our salon and spa offers full hair care, nail care, facial, waxing, massage and body treatments in a peaceful, serene setting. We offer Aveda Signature Services and use only Aveda products in each service and treatment.

The salon also contributes each month to The Saratoga Radiation Oncology Center by offering free services to their patients undergoing treatment. We also are involved in many community events and fundraisers.
